　　As is shown in the bar chart, the number of taking part-time jobs increases gradually during the four years in a university. In the first academic year, based upon the data of the chart, the participation percentage of part-time jobs is nearly 67.77%; the second year, 71.13%; the third year, 71.93%. Surprisingly, the percentage rises dramatically to 88.24% in the fourth year.
　　Why does this phenomenon appear? I think there are several possible reasons for this. Firstly, alongside the acceleration of the social economy, much more college students participate in the social practice. Secondly, most seniors have been aware of taking part-time jobs to earn some pocket money and to gain the social experience. Some freshmen, sophomores and juniors still do not pay attention to this issue. Last but not least, with a rapid growth of the college students in China, only studying well on campus is not enough.
　　How should we better the present situation? In the first place, all the colleges and universities are supposed to encourage students to take part in the social activities. In the second place, parents should educate children to do some part-time jobs from which all the children can learn something useful. In the third place, the government concerned has the duties and responsibilities to create a more secure atmosphere for the college students to do part-time jobs. Only in this way, can we build a more harmonious and happier society.
