考研英语(一)长难句解析系列——1999年完型

　　本文主要探讨的是工业生产安全措施这个问题。在长难句方面，文章较为简单，重点是要对长难句进行断句，找到句子的主干，辨识出不同形式的定语、同位语和状语方法。下面就其中的4个句子进行详解：

　　【例句分析】本句的主干是Successful safety programs may differ greatly in the emphasis，placed on certain aspects of the program是过去分词做后置定语，修饰emphasis。
　　【例句译文】成功的安全计划强调的重点可能大不相同。
　　【典型例句3】But, there are certain basic ideas that must be used in every program if maximum results are to be obtained.
　　【例句分析】本句的主干是there are certain basic ideas。that must be used in every program if maximum results are to be obtained引导定语从句，修饰ideas;其中包含if引导的条件状语从句。
　　【例句译文】但是，要获得最好的效果，每一个计划当中都会遵循某些基本的思想。
　　【典型例句4】The fewer the injury claims, the better the workman’s insurance rate.
　　【例句分析】本句使用比较结构。
　　【例句译文】工伤索赔越少，工人的保险率也就越高。
