　　统计督察 statistical inspections
        　　China has introduced a new inspection regulation to crack down on
statistical fraud and related illegal operations, which is expected to improve
the authenticity of economic data and better support policymaking.
        　　我国出台了一项新的督查规定，打击数据造假及相关违法行为，此举有望提升经济数据的真实性，同时为政策决策更好地提供支持。
        　　《规定》提出，根据党中央、国务院授权，国家统计局(National Bureau of Statistics)组织开展统计督察(statistical
inspections)，督察内容聚焦统计法定职责履行(fulfil statutory obligations)、统计违纪违法现象治理(crack down
on related illegal operations)、统计数据质量提升(improve data
quality)，维护统计法律法规权威(maintain authority of related laws and
regulations)，推动统计改革发展(push forward statistical reform)，为经济社会发展做好统计制度保障。
        　　督察主要通过工作座谈会(panel discussions)、个别谈话(one-on-one conversations)、受理举报(handling
tip-offs)、调阅资料(reviewing archives)、问卷调查(questionnaires)等形式进行。
        　　近两年来，国家统计局持续加大对统计造假(statistical fraud)、弄虚作假的防范和惩治力度，查处了一批统计违法案件。
        　　国家统计局近日通报了5起数据造假典型案件，并在通报中表示，将坚持无禁区(zero restriction)、零容忍(zero
tolerance)、全覆盖(full coverage)，坚持重遏制、强高压、长震慑，坚定不移防范和惩治统计造假、弄虚作假(prevent and
punish statistical fraud and data
falsification)。对于重大统计违法案件，做到发现一起，查处一起，加大曝光力度(increase the exposure of data
fraud)，推动各地严格依纪依法追究统计违纪违法责任人责任。
