　　其中，A是the kinds of behavior referred to by the term 即（智力）一词所指的各种行为；B是how to interpret or classify them，该结构中有一个“them”代词指代，在翻译的过程中需要将该词指代明确化，即前面的the kinds of behavior，译为如何对这些行为进行解释或分类。
　　初始译文：人们对（智力）一词所指的各种行为比对这些行为如何进行解释或分类的看法更为一致。
　　处理后的译文：人们对（智力）一词有关的各种行为，比对这些行为如何进行解释或分类，看法更为一致。
　　2. To criticize it for such failure is roughly comparable to criticizing a thermometer for not measuring wind velocity.
　　词汇识记：be comparable to 比得上…的；与…可比较的
　　criticize A for B 因为B而批评/指责A
　　thermometer 温度计
　　velocity 速度
　　句子主干框架：To do sth is comparable to doing sth. 译为：做某事就犹如做某事。
　　本句中主语是动词不定式，而其中又包含一个代词“it”的指代以及“such failure”的指代。因此，在翻译本句时应首先将上文内容进行阅读，找到本句中两个指代关系，并在翻译中将指代明确化。上文参考阅读部分为：An intelligence test is a rough measure of a child’s capacity for learning, particularly for learning the kinds of things required in school. It does not measure character, social adjustment, physical endurance, manual skills, or artistic abilities.
