一、题型特征
细节题通常用what, which, why, who, when, how, how many, because, cause, reason, result, mention, not to mention, true, not true 等特征词表达。并且，细节题的常见提问方式如下，
(1) The author provides following examples except...?
(2) According to the author, all of the following are true except (that)...
(3) Which is among the best possible ways to...?
(4) Which of the following would NOT be an example...?
(5) ...is revealed in the fact that...
(6) The author argues...because...
二、解题技巧
(一)事实细节题
例1：People in earlier eras were surrounded by reminders of misery. They worked until exhausted, lived with few protections and died young. In the West, before mass communication and literacy, the most powerful mass medium was the church, which reminded worshippers that their souls were in danger and that they would someday be meat for worms.
