考研英语阅读理解的题型主要分为六大类：细节题、态度题、推理题、例证题、词汇题和主题题。题型不同，特点不同，解题技巧便也会有所差别。要想在考场上做到答题如流，其中就需要同学们对各题型及对应选项有比较系统的认识。

该题是典型的细节题，且题干明确。所以我们首先要做的就是回归原文，找到最后一段：In this world of change and complexity, the need for information is of greatest importance. ‚Those people who have accurate, reliable up-to-date information to solve the day-to-day problems, the critical problems of their business, social and family life, will survive and succeed. ƒ“Knowledge is power” may well be the truest saying and access to information may be the most critical requirement of all people. 该段落由三句话构成，他们之间是先分(‚)后总(ƒ)的关系。第一句话指出“对信息的需求在复杂且充满变化的社会中极为重要”;第二句话指出“善于运用信息解决问题的人会获得成功”;第三句话做出总结，强调“获取信息的重要性”。对比四个选项可知，[D]选项“有效掌握所需信息至关重要”为原文中句ƒ的同义替换选项，具体来看，“it is of vital importance”替换“the most critical”;“to acquire needed information”替换“access to information”。
如果对其他三个选项还有些不放心，那我们逐一来看：[A]选项中的obtain knowledge(获取知识)与最后一段中阐述的核心内容obtain information(获取信息)不一致，属于偷换概念;[B]选项中的make the best use of the information(充分利用信息)不等同于原文中的“获取信息”，也属于偷换概念;[C]选项“人们要意识到积累信息的重要性”，强调主观性而非实际动作“获取信息”，同样也是偷换概念。
由上可知，细节题定位要精确到每一句话，并且各选项中的具体内容必须与原文内容进行仔细比对，稍不留神，就可能被偷换概念类型的选项所混淆。因此，只要选项内容与原文内容保持一致，即做到同义替换，便可确定为正确选项。
