　　重要学术贡献
　　长期从事肾炎发病机制研究。证实了肾内的饰胶蛋白聚糖(decorin)分子的泛素化代谢及其在抑制肾炎发病机制中的作用。动物实验通过肾动脉回输DCN转基因系膜细胞可减缓大鼠thy-1动物模型肾炎的病理改变。近年来又重点研究肾炎中足细胞损伤的相关机制，率先证实报道了泛素羧基末端水解酶1(UCH-L1)在病变肾小球足细胞中表达上调，与肾小球免疫复合物沉积有关，体外实验进一步证实多种因素可损伤足细胞， 导致UCH-L1表达升高。足细胞表面有新生Fc受体表达，通过MAP K和NF-kB通路调节，促进UCH-L1的表达升高，并引起足细胞的形态和功能改变，及蛋白尿形成。其相关的分子调节机制仍在继续探索中。
