　　While talking to you, your could-be employer is deciding whether your education, your experience, and other qualifications will pay him to employ you and your "wares" and abilities must be displayed in an orderly and reasonably connected manner.
　　上面的这个长难句选自早年真题阅读，其大意为：在与你面谈时，你未来的雇主将根据你的教育背景、经验和其他的资历来确定雇用你是否值得，因此你必须把你“代售的物品”和能力以有序而合理连贯的方式呈现出来。在这个句子当中，考生需要注意到这个句子的句式结构：句子主干为While..., your could-be employer is deciding whether ... and your "wares" and abilities must be displayed....。在这个句子中，四个and着实让人看着头疼，但将and这个并列结构的标志仔细划分开来，句子主干清晰明了。这个句子是一个并列句，且包含两个分句。在第一个分句中嵌套着一个whether引导宾语从句whether your education, your experience, and other qualifications will pay him to employ you;而在第二个分句中包含着被动语态(must be displayed);这个句子其他需要注意到的是：while在第一个分句中引导了一个伴随状语从句，且在whether引导的宾语从句中，your education, your experience, and other qualifications在从句中作并列主语;“in an orderly and reasonably connected manner”在句中作方式状语。同时，根据上下文的意思，“wares”本义为“货物，商品”，而在这里，“wares”可以引申为“应聘者能够展示出来的资格和能力”。同时， pay sb. to do sth.在此处的意思为“做…对…有利”。这样一来，句子的翻译就更能贴近于原文。同样类似的并列结构还出现在该文的其他句子中：You can make a mental blueprint of a desire as you would make a blueprint of a house, and each of us is continually making these blueprints in the general routine of everyday living。文都教育建议各位考生能够仔细学习由不同的并列连词所构成的并列结构长难句。
