2017考研英语之经典词汇复习（三）

考研族

全国硕士研究生入学英语统一考试是为非英语专业考生设置的，所以，考研的词汇不会涉及太多专业词汇的考察，大部分都是阅读各类期刊、杂志所需要的基础词汇和常见词汇。
　　因此，我们在准备考研英语时，不妨多阅读一些涉及题源文章的期刊，可以有效地扩大我们的词汇量，丰富我们的阅读的背景知识。在平常单词的记忆中，我们也不妨通过经典的真题例句来理解和记忆单词，通过语境，更加深刻地认识和理解单词，达到深入记忆的效果。
　　下面我们一起来学习几组句子，通过句子记忆里面的经典单词。
　　1)The townsfolk don’t see it this way and local council does not contribute directly to the subsidy of the Royal Shakespeare Company. (真题 2006, Text 2, Paragraph 4)
　　镇上人可不这么认为，当地议会也不会直接补贴皇家剧团。
　　2) Few Americans attribute this solely to such obvious causes as a devalued dollar or the turning of the business cycle. (真题 2000, Text 1, Paragraph 4)
　　没几个美国人将这一巨变单纯归因于美元贬值或商业周期循环这些显而易见的原因。

　　注：herd本来指“兽群”，但加了the后，它的英文解释是：large number of people。比如：the common herd 普通民众

　　每个人都有潜在的能量，只是很容易被习惯所掩盖，被时间所迷离, 被惰性所消磨。(与考研人共勉!)
