    China passes law on respecting national anthem
        《国家国歌法》即将实施，预计10月1日起生效
    导读:中国国家立法机关通过了《国家国歌法》，规范了演奏和演唱国歌的正确环境和方式。
    China’s national legislature passed the National Anthem Law on Friday,
regulating the right circumstances and manner to play and sing the national
anthem.
    周五，中国国家立法机关通过了《国家国歌法》，规范了演奏和演唱国歌的正确环境和方式。
    The Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress voted and passed
the law, which will take effect from October 1.
    全国人民代表大会常务委员会投票表决通过了该法案，该法案将于10月1日起生效。
    The law states that people must stand solemnly and not engage in
disrespectful behavior when the national anthem is being played and sung.The
national anthem must not be used for commercial purposes in any form, not played
on inappropriate events like funerals, and not played as background music in
public.
    法律规定，当国歌奏响时，人们必须庄严肃穆，不能表现不敬的行为。国歌不能以任何形式用于商业目的，不能在葬礼等不适当的情境下播放，也不能被当成背景音乐在公共场合播放。
    Primary and middle schools are obliged to teach the anthem to their
students and to make them understand the song’s spirit and history. The law also
says that intentionally distorting the lyrics and melody of the national anthem,
or playing the song in a disrespectful manner is punishable by up to 15 days in
detention.
    中小学学校负有教在校学生唱国歌的义务，并让学生理解这首歌的精神和历史。法律还规定，故意歪曲国歌的歌词和旋律，或者以不尊重的方式演奏国歌，将被处以最高15天的监禁。
