完型填空是在一篇240—280单词的短文中人为地挖去若干单词和短语,要求考生通过阅读全文,掌握文章大意,并运用所学的综合知识在限定时间内从所给的选项中选出使文章意思通顺、结构完整、逻辑合理的最佳选项。它全面考查考生的语言运用能力、阅读理解能力、逻辑分析能力、推理判断能力及常识应用能力。
一、 题目命制的指导原则
英语知识运用的形式不仅考查

第一, 阅读理解能力尤为重要
阅读理解是考生对文章的大意进行理解的第一步也是关键的第一步,只有对文章的大意有所了解,才能把题目做好。通过阅读,可以更加熟悉地了解文章的结构,词汇的设置,词语的辨识等。在阅读文章的时候,不要忘记了对第一句的阅读,因为文章首段的第一句通常会给我们一个整体的信息。
