In his book The Tipping Point, Malcolm Gladwell argues that “social epidemics” are driven in large part by the actions of a tiny minority of special individuals, often called influentials who are unusually informed, persuasive, or well connected.
    epidemic n.
    influential n.
    persuasive a.
    tiny a.
    minority n.少数
    informed a.
Malcolm Gladwell argues that。That引导一个复杂的宾语从句“social epidemics” are driven in large part by the actions of a tiny minority of special individuals, often called influentials who are unusually informed, persuasive, or well connected,该宾语从句中的谓语动词是被动语态的形式“are driven in large part by”另外,句中的“who are unusually informed, persuasive, or well connected”是一个定语从句,也用来修饰限定前面的名词individuals。
