    Fatal crash in autopilot mode
    On June 30, Tesla confirmed that one of its Model S cars in autopilot mode was involved in a fatal crash. The accident occurred on a highway in Florida, when the car crashed into a trailer, killing its 40-year-old driver. Neither the driver nor the car noticed the trailer “against a brightly lit sky”. The accident has turned up pressure on auto industry regulators to ensure that automated driving technology is safe.
    6月30日，美国特斯拉汽车公司确认一辆Model S轿车在自动驾驶模式下发生事故，导致车内人员死亡。该事故发生在佛罗里达的高速路上，Model S轿车与一辆拖车相撞，车内40岁的司机死亡。在“白天光照充分”的情况下，驾驶员和自动驾驶模式都没有发现拖车。这起事故也给汽车行业的监管带来很大压力，汽车行业应当确保自动驾驶技术的安全性。
