    On April 12, Guinness World Records confirmed that China’s Xinhua Dictionary is the world’s most popular dictionary and its best-selling book. First published in 1953, the dictionary has been a cultural repository and language-learning tool for billions of people, according to Xinhua.
    4月12日，吉尼斯世界纪录确认，《新华字典》获得“最受欢迎的字典”和“最畅销的书(定期修订)”两项吉尼斯世界纪录。据新华网报道，于1953年首次出版的《新华字典》是一座文化宝库，同时也是数十亿人的语言学习工具。
