    China’s economy was off to an auspicious start in the first quarter, with
its gross domestic product growing by 6.7% percent, according to data released
by the National Bureau of Statistics on April 15. Economists and analysts agree
that the Q1 growth, though slowest in seven years, is in line with market
expectations.
