    On May 10, the White House announced that US President Barack Obama would visit Hiroshima, Japan, later this month, the first by a US sitting president. According to Yahoo! News, Obama’s visit aims to bolster his call for denuclearization and honor the victims of the atomic bombing in 1945. But Obama will not apologize for the US bombing of Hiroshima during World War II, said the White House.
    5月10日，白宫方面宣布美国总统奥巴马将在本月末访问日本广岛，奥巴马也将成为在任期内访问广岛的首位美国总统。据雅虎新闻报道，奥巴马本次访问的目的在于推动无核化进程，以及纪念1945年原子弹爆炸的遇难者。但是白宫方面表示，奥巴马不会回为二战期间美国轰炸广岛道歉。
