will be an important strategicresource in this century.Network economy has
greatinfluence on the traditional economic theories andeven changes them.Network
economy has obviousscale effect.A greater scale promises more clients,products
of more standard level,morebusiness opportunities and thus much more
interests.No matter how miraculous the Internetis,it cannot exist independently
without traditional economy.Without traditionaleconomy,network economy will be
like the fountain without water and the trees withoutroots,which will not make a
sustainable development.

    21世纪被人们称为“网络称雄”的时代，网络空间(cyberspace)将是本世纪重要的战略资源。网络经济对传统经济理论产生了重大影响，甚至改变着传统经济学中的许多理论。网络经济具有明显的规模效应，规模越大，用户越多，产品越具有标准性，所带来的商业机会就越多，其效益就越大，但是网络再神奇，它也不能脱离传统经济而独立存在。脱离了传统经济，网络经济就成了无水之源、无本之木。
