    The world’s three top central bankers(Greenspan, Duisenberg and Hayami) are
all close to the top of the alphabet,even if one of them really uses Japanese
characters. As are the world's five richest men (Gates, Buffett, Allen, Ellison
and Albrecht).

    The world’s three top central bankers(Greenspan, Duisenberg and Hayami) are
all close to the top of the alphabet(主句), //even if one of them really uses
Japanese characters(even if让步状语从句).
        译文：
    世界三大中央银行行长的姓氏也排在了字母表前面，即使其中一位用的是日本名字，他们分别是：格林斯潘(Greenspan)、迪森伯格(Duisenberg)和河野(Hayami)。世界上最富裕的五个人也是这样，他们的名字分别是：盖茨(Gates)、巴菲特(Buffett)、艾伦(Allen)、埃利森(Ellison)和阿尔布雷克特(Albrecht)。
        翻译思路：as的用法
    在The world’s three top central bankers(Greenspan, Duisenberg and Hayami)
are all close to the top of the alphabet,even if one of them really uses
Japanese characters. As are the world's five richest men (Gates, Buffett, Allen,
Ellison and Albrecht).这两个句子中，第二个句子的As表达和上一个句子发生一样的动作，意思是The world’s five richest
men are all close to the top of the alphabet. 由于As置于句首，为了避免头重脚轻，采用了倒装句式。

books.他的书在美国被禁了，后面两本也一样。
