    　　词汇要点：
    1) furthermore //adv. 而且，此外，再者，进一步说
    2) modify //v. 更改，修改，修饰;缓和，减轻，调节
    3) subject to // 命令，使…服从于…;遭受，使…经历…
    4) peculiar //adj. 特有的，独特的，特别的
    5) fancy //n. 想象，想象力，幻想;爱好。
    结构要点：
    1) 主干结构是humans have the ability;
    2) in which…是定语从句;
    3) subjecting…是分词短语作结果状语。
    　　汉译逻辑要点：
    1) subjecting…to…是“使…服从于…”的意思;这个状语的逻辑主语应该是前面主干的主语human，所以下文的their own
peculiar ideas…中的their应该是指human，their翻译为“人类”指代清楚为好。
    2) 因为life forms是“生命形态”;all other(所有其他的)是针对humans(人类)而言的“所有其他”的“生命形态”。
