    in the early industrialized countries of Europe the process of
industrialization—with all the far reaching changes in social patterns that
followed—was spread over nearly a century, whereas nowadays a developing nation
may undergo the same process in a decade or so.
    　　译文：
    在早期的已经实现工业化的欧洲国家里，其工业化进程以及随之而来的社会结构的深刻变革，持续了大约一个世纪，然而如今一个发展中国家只需要十年左右就能完成同样的过程。
    　　词汇记忆要点：
    industrialize(industry, industrialization)
    far-reaching
    pattern
    follow
    spread
    spread over
    whereas
    undergo
    or so
    　　结构和汉译逻辑记忆要点：
    注意介词in的宾语是country，而不是后面的process，好多人会看错。
    with介词后面的宾语是changes，它前面有all the far reaching修饰，后面还有in social patterns和that
followed定语从句修饰。翻译的顺序是从后往前。
    spreadover，考虑到上文主语是process，应该翻译为“持续，延续”。
    whereas翻译为“然而”。
    or so跟在数字后面表示“大约，左右”。
