The picture vividly depicts a thought –provoking scene that a couple of lovers left a pile of rubbish which floated on the surface of the river after having fun in by boat. As the note said, there was nothing left without garbage.
     To begin with, the purpose of the drawings is to show us that some of us are lack of the awareness of environment protecting yet the symbolic meanings subtly conveyed should be taken more seriously. With the development of technology, lots of plastic is used in packing, which is not easy to dissolve in the nature. We would be failed to find another planet to live in if the earth is filled with rubbish.
     For my part, rather than dismissing ourselves as a creature of destroying the environment we can instead direct our own changes by consciously taking some measures. Government should take more efforts to improve the awareness of environment protecting and individuals also need to do something to protect the environment. Only making joints efforts can we make a sustainable development for the future generations.
