As  is vividly portrayed in the cartoon, a boring scene appears before our  eyes. In spite of the lake is seriously polluted, two tourist are  enjoying sightseeing while littering. The lake is dotted with a  critical mass of garbage, such as plastic bags, banana peel, bottles,  tins, fish-bones and son on. As the caption reads “ ‘after’ the travel” . There is no denying that the cartoonist aims at reminding us the grave problem that a large number of visitors lack theenvironmental awareness during traveling times.  On the one hand, the development of economy boosts the need of travel  and in turn, of course, tourism increases people’s income. On the other  hand, we can never ignore the fact that the environment of tourist  attraction suffers grave destruction. Just like the cartoon shows, with a  huge number of travelers rush into scenic spots, thousands of rubbish  are made and discarded, which made the environment seriously polluted.Not only has this situation influenced our own generation but they will influence generations to come.   It is imperative for us to take drastic measures. For one thing,  relevant laws and regulations should be made to fine those who are  littering ordo other uncivilized behaviors. For another, we should  cultivate the awareness of the citizens that the protection of  environment in the process of traveling is significant. Only in this way  can we curb the current phenomenon revealed in the picture.
