With a huge number of garbage overcrowding the river, the environment of the tourist attraction has suffered grave destruction. It is apparent that the cartoonist aims at reminding us of the significance of protection of the environment during traveling times. With the development of economy and ever-increasing pressure, travel, of course, provides an outlet for the pressure of life. Meanwhile, as an economically valuable business, there is no denying that the local citizens and government benefit more from tourism. However, the development of tourism brings about a lot of problems in environment. To begin with, we can never enhance the Gross Domestic Product growth rate at the expense of putting strain on the environment. Furthermore, the sustainable development strategy will be affected by the polluted environment and the excessively used natural resources. What is more significant, the travelers’ uncivilized behaviors not only reveal their lack of social ethics, but also made the environment grievously contaminated. It is high time that we should enhanced people’s awareness to rectify the situation by giving priority to the protection of environment. Learning to strike a balance between tourism and environment, government should dedicate money and energy to preserving the environment of tourist attraction.
