With the rapidly progress of living standards of the people, the tourist around the world is constantly increasing. Therefore, the problem that is described in the cartoon is becoming more serious.  The drawing is shown that two tourists is chucking the rubbish into the river which is polluted by some garbage such as fishbone, empty tins and bottles, scrap box and so forth. However, why does the phenomenon emerge? There are two causes as follow. One is the development of mental and material civilization is unbalanced. Another is our relevant laws and regulation is not still complete and our government lack in supervision.
    So, we must do something to protect the environment against pollution. The first and foremost, our government should strengthen more strict investigation and the power on implement. What is more, we could enhance the publicity using a variety of media, make the people get a deeper understanding about environmental protection. Lastly, we must reinforce the awareness of the duty of society and the common courtesy. Only in this way, our circumstances that we depend on for existence would be more beautiful and our human society could go to the farther.
