     1.To take advantage of this tool,some impoverished countries will have to get over their outdated anti-colonial prejudices with respect to foreign investment.
     【译文】 要想利用这一工具，某些贫困国家必须克服对外资所持的过时的反殖民主义偏见。
     【析句】 本句的主干是some impoverished countries will have to get over their outdated anti-colonial prejudices。前面的不定式（To take advantage of this tool）可以被看成是一个目的状语。tool指上文的the internet。
     【讲词】 impoverished意为“贫困的，赤贫的”，其同义词有poor和poverty stricken等，但是该词还可表示“贫乏；贫瘠”。例如：an impoverished speech（乏味的演讲），a region impoverished by drought（由于干旱而变得贫瘠的地区）。
     get over意为“克服，摒弃”，例如：I can not get over the feeling that I may fail in the examination.（我老是想着我这次考试会不及格。）恋爱的人们常会有I can't get over you这种感觉，表示“我忘不了你”或“我老是想着你”。
     with respect to表示“在某个方面”，例如：There is a lot to be done with respect to China's infrastructure.（中国在基础设施方面仍有许多工作要做。）

     【讲词】 capital意为“资金”，注意money，cash，finance等的区别。Third Wave是指“第三次浪潮”，即后工业时代，或人们常说的信息时代。better off指的是 well off（家境好；富裕的）的比较级。
     well-off 意为“富有的；富余的；幸运的”。Most people are better off than ten years ago. （大多数人比十年前更富有。）You're well-off fo r coal, I hope. （但愿你们有足够的煤。）Jack doesn't know when he is welloff. （杰克身在福中不知福。）
