        1. confer
        vt.    授予，颁与；比较，对照；
        vi.     商议，磋商；
        [例句]He conferred with Hill and the others in his office.
        他与希尔及其他人在办公室里商议了一番。
        2. confess
        v.      承认；坦白；供认；悔过；
        [例句]He had confessed to seventeen murders.
        他供认了17起谋杀案。
        3. confidence
        n.      信心；信任；秘密；

        4. confine
