Net neutrality
　　On June 14, a US appeals court supported the Obama administration’s position, barring internet service providers from slowing down consumer access to web content. The ruling is a victory for net neutrality, the concept that internet service providers should not create fast or slow lanes for internet traffic in exchange for premium rates. Internet service providers like At&T are not satisfied with the decision, and they are expected to appeal to the Supreme Court.
　　6月14日，美国上诉法庭支持奥巴马政府的立场，禁止网络服务供应商减缓消费者获取网络内容的网速。这项判决是网络中立的胜利，即网络服务供应商不应该为了收取额外费用，而创造出或快或慢的网络流量通道。然而，诸如At&T这类的网络服务供应商对此判决并不满意，他们将到最高法院进行上诉。
　　马上学：“网络中立”也可用Internet neutrality或net equality表示，指运营商在提供网络服务时须平等分配数据流量，不得通过关闭或者限制流量来降低上网速率。
