        【译文】这些人大量撰写、出版书籍，在新旧大陆都有读者，这给新英格兰带来了热衷思想研究的氛围。
        【析句】本句结构很简单，主句men wrote and published extensively,reaching...and giving...是现在分词作伴随状语。当前后动词主语相同且动作为主动时，便可以使用现在分词作伴随状语的结构。
        2. A tailor named John Dane, who emigrated in the late 1630s, left an account of his reasons for leaving England that is filled with signs，sexual confusion, economic frustrations , and religious hope-all name together in a decisive moment when he opened the Bible, told his father the first line he saw would settle his fate, and read the magical words: "come out from among them, touch no unclean thing , and I will be your God and you shall be my people." (2009. 阅读. Text 4)

        【析句】本句很长，先抓主干。A tailor...left an account of his reasons for leaving England--all name together in a decisive moment...。整句话被破折号一分为二，先看前句，主语a tailor后，named John Dame是过去分词作定语，who emigrated...作定语从句；that引导定语从句修饰an account.再看破折号之后，主句all name together in a decisive moment,when引导定语从句修饰moment。定语从句中有三个依次发生的动作opened...told...and read...。最后引用了Bible中的一句话come out...,touch...,and I will be...用到的句式是从句祈使句，主句一般将来时。
        3. Meanwhile, many settlers had slighter religious commitments than Dane's, as one clergyman learned in confronting folk along the coast who mocked that they had not come to the New world for religion. (2009. 阅读. Text 4)
        【译文】与此同时，许多定居者并没有戴恩（Dane）那样虔诚，就像一位牧师在海边遇到一些人时听到的那样，那些人揶揄道，他们来新大陆可不是为了宗教。
        【析句】复合句由主句many settlers had...Dane's+as引导的时间状语从句组成，从句中，who mocked...定语从句修饰one clergyman,mocked后是宾语从句。
