【析句】本句结构比较简单，主句是Scientists need to respond...advocates，后面有whose引导的定语从句修饰advocates，定语从句中主语是whose arguments，有两个并列的谓语结构are confusing the public and threatening advances...。
2. For example, a grandmotherly woman staffing an animal rights booth at a recent street fair was distributing a brochure that encouraged readers not to use anything that comes from or is tested in animals—no meat, no fur, no medicines. (2003. 阅读. Text 3)

【析句】句子的主干是a grandmotherly woman was distributing a brochure。其中，staffing an animal rights booth是动名词作定语相当于who staffed...；that encouraged ...anything作a brochure的定语从句；anything后也有that引导的定语从句，并且从句里有两个并列的谓语结构comes from...和is tested...。
3. Finally, because the ultimate stakeholders are patients, the health research community should actively recruit to its cause not only well-known personalities such as Stephen Cooper, who has made courageous statements about the value of animal research, but all who receive medical treatment. 【析句】首先抓句子主干，because the ultimate stakeholders...patients,the health research community should recruit to its cause not only...but all...。because引导原因状语从句比较简单，不赘述；主句中，注意谓语动词should recruit后有两个宾语well-known personalities such as Stephen Cooper和all,每个宾语后分别有who引导的定语从句。
