        Moreover, demographers see the continuing shift south and west as joined by a related but newer phenomenon: More and more,Americans apparently are looking not just for places with more jobs but withfewer people, too. Some instances —

        ● Amongstates, Nevada and Arizona grew fastest of all: 63.5 and 53.1 percentrespectively. Except for Florida and Texas, the top 10 in rate of growth is composed of Westernstates with 7.5 million people — about 9 per square mile.

        Moreover, demographers see the continuing shift south and west as joinedby a related but newer phenomenon: More and more, Americans apparently arelooking not just for places with more jobs but with fewer people, too. Someinstances —
        ●Regionally, the Rocky Mountain states reported the most rapid growth rate — 37.1 percent since 1970 in a vast area with only 5 percent ofthe US population.
        ● Amongstates, Nevada and Arizona grew fastest of all: 63.5 and 53.1 percentrespectively. Except for Florida and Texas, the top 10 in rate of growth is composed of Westernstates with 7.5 million people — about 9 per square mile.
        65. We can see from the availablestatistics that ________.
        [A] California was once themost thinly populated area in the whole US
        [B] the top10 states in growth rate of population were all located in the West
        [C] citieswith better climates benefited unanimously from migration
        [D] Arizonaranked second of all states in its growth rate of population
        题型识别:细节题(事实识别)
        题干定位:这个题目在原文中定位点较多是难点之一,最好是用选项和原文逐一定位;
        思路解析:典型的细节题解题思路
        选项分析:
        [A] California was once themost thinly populated area in the whole US
        文中没有提及这一事实;
        [B] the top 10 states in growth rate of population were all located inthe West
        文中明确的谈到除开Floridaand Texas之外的都是在西方;
        [C] cities with better climates benefited unanimously from migration
        unanimously相当于all,全部一致的;
        [D] Arizonaranked second of all states in its growth rate of population
        Among states, Nevada and Arizona grew fastest ofall: 63.5 and 53.1 percent respectively.
        在所有的州当中,内华达和亚利桑那是最快的分别是:63.5和53.1;
        所以入选!
        昨天句子的答案:
        有时候不费钱的来的东西反而最贵。
        主句:
        sometimes one pays most for the things
        定语从句省略了that:
        (that) one gets for nothing
        that 指代前面的things做宾语
        完整就是:
        one gets the things for nothing
        直接翻译就是:
        有时候,一个人为不费任何代价而得来的东西支付了最多;
        转译:有时候不费钱的来的东西反而最贵。
