        　　推荐信是写信人向收信人推荐某人做某事的信件。推荐信在西方国家是求职，求学的必备材料。写推荐信的人必须对被推荐者有一定的了解。最好有较深的资历，如被推荐者的原单位领导，本专业的专家等，名声越大越好。除了请别人推荐，也可以自荐。
       
        　　写作“三步走”：
       
        　　指出写信人和被推荐人的关系，及推荐的原因→概述被荐人的品质、能力、性格等→。总结说明被推荐人值得被推荐(例如能胜任工作)。
       
        　　注意：
       
        　　推荐信要多写优点，充分肯定成绩，篇幅不宜过长，但也不能三言两语过于简单。

        　　Directions: You are asked to write a recommendation letter of your student, Li Ming, for a position of administrator in a company. Address it to the manager and express your reason(s) clearly。
        　　Write the letter with no less than 100 words. Do not sign your own name at the letter. Use “Wang Hua” instead. Do not write the address。
        　　Dear Sir or Madam,
        　　It is with great pleasure that I recommend to you Li Ming, an outstanding graduate majoring in Business Administration。
        　　I have been in charge of Mr. Li’s class since they were freshmen, so I know him well. He is courteous, sincere and hardworking.
