迪士尼公司和上海申迪集团宣布，上海迪士尼度假区将于今年6月16日正式开门迎客。景区总经理表示，届时将举办为期三天的盛大开幕庆典，目前正在筹备过程中。
Walt Disney has finally confirmed the opening date for the new Disney resort in Shanghai.The project's developer has announced that the long-anticipated theme park will open its gates to tourists on June 16th.The resort's general manager, Philippe Gas, says a three-day grand opening celebration is in preparation.
“上海迪士尼既保持了迪士尼的魔幻风格，又独具中国风，自上海迪士尼建设之初我们就秉承这一原则，开幕庆典也将独具中国特色。”
"It's about being authentically Disney and also distinctly Chinese. So of course, the celebration will also reflect that theme, that has been our theme since the beginning of our construction which is celebrating both, the blend of what Disney can offer with the culture of China."
上海迪士尼园区由六大主题园区组成，分别为“探险岛”“奇想花园”“米奇大街”“明日世界”“宝藏湾”和“梦幻世界”。
Shanghai Disney resort is made up of six themed lands, including Adventure Isle, Gardens of Imagination, Mickey Avenue, Tomorrowland, Treasure Cove and Fantasyland.
漫威电影人物和星球大战玩具衍生品也将入驻上海迪士尼园区。
It will have features and attractions unique among Disney's worldwide properties, including ones based on Marvel comics franchises and Star Wars.
上海迪士尼园区总经理表示，在园区内的“十二朋友园”，中国十二生肖将于迪士尼经典角色巧妙互动，中西方文化融合看点多。
Gas also indicates there will be others distinctly inspired by Chinese culture."We talked about Disney's respect of the beauty and culture of China and blend that with Disney story telling the creativity that Disney can bring. The garden of 12 friends that celebrate the 12 zodiac signs and associate those very important stories about the Chinese zodiac with all Disney characters and make them come together in a very respectful and I think beautiful way."
上海迪士尼乐园是亚洲最大、全球第六个迪士尼主题乐园，占地963英亩(即3.9平方公里)，集游览观光住宿为一体，于2011年破土动工，耗资340亿元人民币(约合55亿美元)。
Shanghai Disney Resort is said to consist of a 963-acre theme park, along with hotels and an entertainment complex.Construction of the resort has been ongoing since 2011, with an investment of 34 billion yuan, roughly 5.5 billion US dollars.It's Disney's sixth resort worldwide.
