译文：
但是即使有一个伟大的医疗体系，死亡也是无法战胜的——而我们不能面对这个现实，正危及我们的伟大。
翻译思路：否定转移
在But not even a great health-care system cancure death.这个句子中，否定词not
与even连用，意思是“连…也不能”。这里not 不是否定even a great health-care system，而是否定谓语can cure
death。意思是But even a great health-care system can NOT cure death.
这种否定转移，我们平时最常见的是“think, believe, suppose, imagine, expect,
feel等动词的主语是第一人称，这些动词前面的否定not，其实是否定宾语从句的动词”，比如：I don’t think you are right.其实是I
think you are NOT right.
