考研英语（一）长难句解析系列——2015年翻译

　　本文选自一个专门介绍美国历史的网站，主要介绍欧洲移民最开始来到美国的情况，及其民族特制对美国的影响。如果考生对美国历史——尤其是欧洲人移民到美国的历史——有所了解的话，对于这篇文章的理解及翻译应该会更加容易。在长难句方面，有些句子虽长，但是其中的词汇和语法结构并不是非常复杂，因此整体理解难度不是非常大。下面就其中个别相对难的句子进行分析：
