    在英译汉的翻译过程中，经常要根据表达的需要进行英语中词性的相互转换，从而使表达更加通顺自然。
    名词转译成形容词
        【翻译技巧分析】
    英语中的很多名词都可以转译为形容词，尤其是介词 of 后的名词绝大多数都可以转换为形容词。
    1、形容词派生的名词往往可以转译成形容词。如：This issue is of vital
importance.(这个问题至关重要。)，句中名词“importance”被转译为形容词。
    2、有些名词加不定冠词作表语时，往往可以转译成形容词。如：Our performance was a success.(我们的演出很成功。)，句中名词
“a success”被转译为形容词successful。

    例：If the small hot spots look as expected, that will be a triumph for yet
another scientific idea, a refinement of the Big Bang called the inflationary
universe theory. [1998年第74题]
    [分析]
    (1)句子分析：If the small hot spots look as expected, that will be a triumph for
yet another scientific idea, //a refinement of the Big Bang called the
inflationary universe theory.
    (2)词义确定：the small hot spots 小热点;refinement 更完美，提炼，改进;the inflationary
universe theory 宇宙膨胀说(理论) 。
    (3)参考译文：假如那些小热点看上去同预计的一致，那就意味着又一科学论说的胜利，这种论说即更完美的大爆炸论，亦称宇宙膨胀说。
    (4)技巧点拨：“a refinement of the Big Bang”中的“a refinement
of”译为“更完美的”更加符合汉语习惯，此时名词转译为形容词。
    　　名词与副词的互相转译
        【翻译技巧分析】
    英语中副词和名词的相互转译也占据了很大的比例，这两者之间的相互转译可以使译文更加通顺、地道。例如：
    1、名词转译成副词。如：The new mayor earned some appreciation by the courtesy of
coming to visit the poor in the city. ( 新市长有礼貌地前来访问城市贫民，获得了他们的一些好感。)，在此句中，“the
courtesy of coming to visit the city poor”短语中的名词“courtesy”
被转译为“有礼貌地”。这一译法使句子更加符合汉语表达。
    2、副词转译成名词。如：“It is officially announced that China has successfully
launched her first manned
spaceship.”(官方宣布，中国已经成功的实现了载人航天。)，句中的“officially”翻译为名词“官方”。
