    Tim Duncan retired from the NBA after 19 years, the team announced
Monday.
    在NBA征战了19个赛季后，蒂姆·邓肯于周一宣布正式退役。
    After this last season, it became apparent Duncan took a major step back
physically. He wasn’t able to do the things that made him a future Hall of Fame
player, which is understandable considering he turned 40.

    Duncan finishes his career as one of the top 10 players of all time,
becoming a five-time NBA Champion, three-time NBA Finals MVP, two-time league
MVP and a 15-time All-Star (tied for most all-time) just to name a few
accomplishments.

    He, along with Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili, created a dynasty in San
Antonio, making it a fearful team for years in the NBA. The trio has the NBA
record for most wins by three players in both the regular season (575) and
postseason (126). Led by coach Gregg Popovich, Duncan also has the most wins for
a player-coach duo in NBA history (1,001).

player to log 9,000 career minutes in the postseason.
