    A survey on relationships and marriage in Chinasuggested that most of the
respondents first gotmarried between 22 and 28.

    In China, men who wed at age 25 or older areconsidered to have married
late, while the age forwomen is 23 or older.

    The survey found that the percentage of those whoopted for a late marriage
was 63.29% for men and 83.07% for women. It also showed thatyoung Chinese are
losing their virginity at an earlier age.

    The average age for people born after 1995 was 17.71, compared to 22.17 for
those born inthe 1980s, the survey said.

    It was conducted by Peking University's social survey studies center and a
commercial datingwebsite and polled about 80,000 people in 34 locations across
China.

    Besides that, couples who have been married for three to five years are the
least happy, with11.1 percent saying they would not stay with one another in the
next life while another 8.9percent say they would not consider marriage at all,
according to "Chinese marriage statusreport in 2015."
    此外，根据2015年中国人婚姻状况报告显示，结婚三到五年的夫妇是幸福指数最低的;11.1%的人表示不愿意和伴侣厮守一生;8.9%的人表示根本不想考虑结婚。
