    美国最高法院宣布同性婚姻合法：LGBT到底是什么?彩虹旗有几个颜色?
    美国最高法院于26日做出了一项历史性裁决。美最高法的九名大法官以5比4的投票结果裁定，同性婚姻合乎宪法。这一裁决结果意味着同性婚姻在全美50个州全部合法。随着这一裁定的宣布，之前美国13个州对同性婚姻的禁令撤销。美国也因此成为全球第21个在全境承认同性婚姻的国家。
    大法官安东尼•肯尼迪在意见书中这样写到：“没有一种结合比婚姻更加深刻，因为婚姻象征了对爱情忠贞、奉献、牺牲和家庭的最高理想……就像本案中的一些请愿者展示的，婚姻意味着一份甚至超越死亡的挚爱……他们的愿望不应该被非难，他们不该孤独终老，被我们人类文明最古老的制度排斥在外。他们向法律之眼寻求平等的尊严，而宪法也将赋予他们这份权利。”
    The U.S. Supreme Court on Friday made marriage for same-sex couples legal
nationwide, declaring that refusing to grant marriage licenses to gay and
lesbian couples violates the Constitution. The landmark ruling will produce the
most significant change in laws governing matrimony since the court struck down
state bans on inter-racial marriage almost 50 years ago.
    The majority opinion in the 5-4 decision was written by Justice Anthony
Kennedy.
    "No union is more profound than marriage, for it embodies the highest
ideals of love, fidelity, devotion, sacrifice, and family. In forming a marital
union, two people become something greater than once they were," Kennedy wrote.
"As some of the petitioners in these cases demonstrate, marriage embodies a love
that may endure even past death."
    "Their hope is not to be condemned to live in loneliness, excluded from one
of civilization's oldest institutions. They ask for equal dignity in the eyes of
the law. The Constitution grants them that right.”
    马上学：美国最高法的这一裁定标志着美国同性恋及LGBT群体历史性的胜利。LGBT即Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual,
Transgender的首字母缩写，是男、女同性恋、双性恋与跨性别者的统称，如今已被广泛使用。同性恋的正式说法是homosexual。如果细分，男同性恋称为gay，女的则称为lesbian。至于queer，faggot等带有轻蔑色彩的称呼，为了世界和平还是不要用了吧。对男同性恋者说Queen
或者fairy更是非常不礼貌的。那么，出柜怎么说呢?用come out of the closet，或者简单说come out也可以。
    在裁决公布之后，美国总统奥巴马、苹果CEO库克、女歌手Lady
Gaga、影星李奥纳多•迪卡普里奥、女星艾玛•沃森、作家JK.罗琳等名人纷纷在社交网络上发声，对裁定表示支持与欢迎。奥巴马在其推特上表示，同性婚姻裁定是迈向平等的一大步。
