computer science offers far more job opportunities than history. We are now in a
high-tech age(高科技时代). For the foreseeable future(可预知的未来), it would be necessary
for everyone to be equipped with (配备)computer skills merely to earn a
living.
Of course, I would recommend that you keep up your reading of history in
your spare time.
