    1) Invite them to the party,

    Dear Xiaobao:
    I would be greatly obliged if you could attend the dinner party at my house
on April 1,2008 to celebrate Mr.Old Fish’s marriage with Miss Fujiwora.As you
are a close friend of us,we would very much like you to participate in the
celebration and share our joy and your coming will certainly be our honor.
    The occasion will start at seven o’clock in the evening,with the showing of
their wedding ceremony.This will be followed by a dinner party.At around ten,we
will hold a small musical soiree,at which a band will perform some works by Bach
and Strauss.
    If the arrangement is convenient to you,please send us a reply,and we look
forward to the pleasure of your company.
