Hostess A-Ya Returns to Taiwan after US Study Trip

The variety show hostess A-Ya has recently ended a 15-month long study trip in Los Angeles, USA, returning to Taiwan.
   
    In addition to the English language, acting and painting, the star said she also learnt to live independently.
   
    "It was a great experience, although the first three months were terrible. When I failed to assemble my modular furniture, I simply sat down on the floor and burst into tears," A-Ya said.
   
    "I had more than 10 admirers, including a rock singer, a Taoism believer who didn't wear shoes and a black basketball player who attended the same yoga class as me. Later I discovered I was living in a hippie area."
   
    A-Ya is now arranging to return to "Guess", the variety show she hosted before she left Taiwan, and will join a tour show in the Chinese mainland in September.
