　　【分析】多重复合句…主句主子为Studies have shown that…。that引导宾语从句，其主干是sex hormone affect the stress response。现在分词结构causing  females···作结果状语，为避免头重脚轻,比较结构more···than引导的状语从句用了倒装语序，正常语序：···than males under the same conditions do，其中do替代前面的 produce。
