【译文】像沃斯·萨文特得到这样的超高分数也再不可能，因为现在的分数依据的是相同年龄者的统计学群体分布状况，而不是简单地通过实足年龄乘以100来划分智能年龄。
【析句】主句很简单，Superhigh scores are no longer possible;看从句，because引导原因状语从句，句中注意短语rather than的用法，后面的dividing the mental age...属于动名词。
2. In his article “How Intelligent Is Intelligence Testing?”, Sternberg notes that traditional test best assess analytical and verbal skills but fail to measure creativity and practical knowledge, components also critical to problem solving and life success. (2007. 阅读. Text 2)
【译文】在其名为“智力测试如何明智？”的文章中，斯顿伯格指出，传统的测试最恰当地评估了分析能力和语言表达能力，但没有测量创造性和实际知识，这些也是解决问题和在生活中取得成功的关键因素。
【析句】先抓句子主干，Sternberg notes that...是主句，traditional test assess...skills but fail to...是宾语从句,逗号后，components critical to...是creativity and practical kowledge的同位语，起到进一步解释说明的作用。
3. Research has found that IQ predicted leadership skills when the tests were given under low-stress conditions, but under high-stress conditions, IQ was negatively correlated with leadership – that is, it predicted the opposite. (2007. 阅读. Text 2)
【译文】研究发现，如果在低压力状况下进行智商测试，那么这种测试就可以预测出领导才能，但是，在高压力状况下，智商测试所得的结果与领导才能的关系是否定的，也就是说，它预测的结果是相反的。
【析句】英语阅读中经常引用各种研究结果，就用到本例句中的句式Research has found that或是Study has shown that,但真正的内容要看宾语从句。but连接两个宾语从句，第一句话中，主句是IQ predicted leadership skills,when the tests were given under low-stress conditions是时间状语从句；第二句under high-stress conditions作条件状语。最后，破折号后，that is是插入语，意为“也就是，换句话说”。
