The blurring of working women’s roles refers to the fact that________.即选they are both breadwinners and housewives（她们既要养家糊口又是家庭主妇）。the fact后that引导同位语从句，解释说明fact；home front“家庭大后方”；lag behind“落后”，lag well behind就是“远远落后”；make adjustments“做出调整”，adjustment动词形式为adjust，常见搭配adjust to表示“调整以适应”。
