2006年在中国科学技术大学获得神经生物学专业博士学位,2006-2010年分别在美国堪萨斯大学药理系和中科院神经所从事博士后工作,2010-2015年在美国西南医学中心分子生物系任研究科学家,主要从事转录因子调控神经干细胞自我更新和分化机制的研究。2016年加入复旦大学上海医学院解剖与组胚系任研究员,主要从事神经干细胞和神经损伤后再生机制方面的研究。担任中国神经科学学会神经发育与再生分会委员。在 PNAS、Nat Commun、Cereb Cortex、Mol Cell Biol、Acta Neuropathol等国际SCI期刊上发表多篇研究论文。
