As is vividly revealed in the bar chart, some remarkable changes have taken place in the recent 4 years with the category of products that Chinese exports to the world. From the chart, we can see that the export of textile has witnessed a dramatic slump from 2014 to 2017. At the same time, the export of high-tech products climbs a lot. In comparison, the export of food is always changing.
What might account for the notable changes? Reasons are many, but the most important one, as far as I am concerned, is that with the development of science and technology, the need of high-tech productsincreases sharply. Many Chinese smartphones and computer brands have not only captured more markets, but also made lots of breakthroughs. In addition, the advance of Chinese society is a key factor, because of this, consumers have changed their prejudice on Chinese high-tech brands.
From my perspective, it is a positive trend and should be encouraged, for it is not only beneficial for the development and prosperity of our economy but also conducive to the achievement of our technology.
