网传华为要在日本建厂，你怎么看?
“We plan to set up a technology research laboratory in Japan, not a
factory,” Huawei, a Chinese telecommunications equipment manufacturer, clarified
on Thursday in response to rumors.
本周四，中国通讯设备制造商华为在澄清谣言时表示：“我们计划在日本设立技术研究实验室，而不是工厂。”
The Chinese version of The Nikkei reported that Huawei would construct a
big new plant in Japan as early as the end of the year for the mass production
of communication devices and related equipment, saying it would be the first
Chinese enterprise to officially invest in Japanese plants.
《日经新闻》中国版曾报道称，华为将在今年年底于日本建造一个大型工厂，从而大规模生产通讯设备和其他相关设备，该报道表示华为将是第一个正式投资日厂的中国企业。
The report said that the site of the new plant would be in the old DMG Mori
factory building in Funabashi, Chiba, and would be put into production as soon
as Huawei finished importing production equipment. What’s more, the report
estimated the investment to be around 5 billion yen (about 300M RMB) and said
there would be additional investment.
据报道，华为新厂的地址将位于千叶县船桥市DMG
Mori厂旧址，而一旦华为完成生产设备进口之后就将投产。此外，报道还估计此次投资在50亿日元左右(约合3亿人民币)，并表示将追加投资。
The report said that improvements in Japan’s high-speed communication
networks would increase Huawei’s sales in Japanese communication enterprises,
and that the new plant would increase Huawei’s supply chain capacity in
Japan.
报道称，日本高速通讯网络的改善将提高华为对日本通讯企业的销售额，而该新厂也将提高华为在日本的供货能力。
However, Huawei responded that it was incorrect to assume Huawei would be
constructing a factory in Japan. The so-called plant site is actually where
Huawei’s new technology research laboratory will be set up in 2017 for the
purpose of collaboration and research with its Japanese suppliers. The main
focus will be on technology research, including the testing of some of the
components of Huawei’s products. Huawei will feedback the results to its
Japanese suppliers and partners for them to use.
然而华为回应称，认为华为将在日本建厂是不正确的。所谓的新工厂厂址其实是华为新技术研究实验室所在，该实验室计划2017年成立，目的是为了和日本供应商进行合作和研究。该实验室的重点将放在技术研究之上，包括对华为产品的某些零部件进行测试。而华为将把这些结果反馈给该公司的日本供应商和合作伙伴，供他们使用。
Huawei estimates that dozens of researchers will come to the laboratory by
the end of this year. The original intent of the laboratory was to integrate the
advanced manufacturing capacity, quality management system, and excellent work
of Japanese companies to Huawei’s global value chain, in order to create more
high-quality products.
华为还预计，到今年年底十几位研究人员将赶赴该实验室。该实验室的最初目的是为了将日企的先进制造能力、质量管理体系、以及卓越的工作和华为的全球价值链整合起来，从而创造出更多高质量产品。
Huawei did not announce whether they are considering constructing plant in
Japan in the future.
然而华为并没有在报告中表示将来是否会在日本建厂。
