Israel’s Defence Minister Avigdor Lieberman has warned Hamas the next war
with them would be their last ’because we will completely destroy them’.
以色列国防部长阿维格多.利伯曼已经向哈马斯发出警告，与他们的下一次战争将是终结之战，“因为我们将一举歼灭他们”。
He said he remained committed to a two-state solution and told the
Palestinian al-Quds newspaper: ’I would like to clarify that we have no
intention of starting a new war against our neighbours in the Gaza Strip or the
West Bank, Lebanon or Syria.’
他表示，他仍然致力于两国解决方案，并告诉巴勒斯坦《圣城报》：“我想要说清楚，我们无意与邻国在加沙地带或约旦河西岸、黎巴嫩或叙利亚发动一场新的战争。”
But Mr Lieberman, a hawkish minister in the Israeli government, urged
Palestinians in the Gaza Strip to tell Hamas to ’stop your crazy policies’.
但是，以色列政府的鹰派部长利伯曼先生敦促加沙地带的巴勒斯坦人告诉哈马斯“停止你们的疯狂政策”。
He said: ’In Gaza, like the Iranians, they intend to eliminate the state of
Israel...If they impose the next war on Israel, it will be their last. I would
like to emphasise again, it will be their last confrontation because we will
completely destroy them.’
他表示：“在加沙，他们跟伊朗人一样，想要消灭以色列……如果他们再次对以色列发动战争，这将会成为最后一次。我要再强调一次，这将是最后一次交锋，因为我们将一举歼灭他们。”
The last war, which last three weeks between December 2008 and January
2009, led to the deaths of 1,300 Palestinians and 13 Israelis.

Israel and Hamas have fought three wars since 2007, when the militant group
seized power in Gaza after ousting forces loyal to Fatah leader Mahmoud Abbas in
