点睛：本句是个并列句，由bu连接表转折关系。第一个分句的主干为The…motion of the plates…has
beenconstructed...，现在分词短语carrying these
continents作plates的后置定语。第二个分句的主干为themotion…cannot... be translated…。with respect
to another在句中出现了两次，意思是“相对于…”。betranslated into意为“被解释为”，这里的another指的是another
