Torrential rain across northeast China will last until Friday as Typhoon
Lionrock, the tenth of the year, is forecast to hit the region on Wednesday.
本周三，今年第十号台风“狮子山”即将登陆中国东北，据预报显示，受台风影响，整个东北地区的大暴雨将持续到本周五。
The strong typhoon, which was formed 10 days ago, is expected to make
landfall in Japan on Tuesday afternoon and then head toward northeast China on
Wednesday morning, according to the National Meteorological Center (NMC).
据中国国家气象中心(NMC)报告，强台风“狮子山”形成于10天前，将于本周二下午登陆日本，然后在周三上午转向朝中国东北地区而来。
China’s northeast, including Heilongjiang, Jilin and Liaoning, as well as
Inner Mongolia, will see heavy rain, with precipitation in some parts reaching
up to 200 millimeters.
中国东北，包括黑龙江、吉林、辽宁和内蒙古等省份，将迎来强降雨，部分地区的降雨量将高达200毫米。
The NMC warned of possible damage to the region’s grain harvest and urged
local authorities to take measures to protect farmland.
国家气象中心警告台风可能给该地区的粮食收获造成损害，敦促地方政府采取措施保护农田。
Lionrock has led to flight delays and cancellations in Japan on
Tuesday.
